Terms of Service
The agreement between you and Senithu Software Solutions for using VisionParse.
The service
VisionParse is operated by Senithu Software Solutions ("we", "us"), No: 295/A/1, Nedagamuwa, Kotugoda, Sri Lanka, which is the data controller for this service. You can reach us at VisionParse@senithu.lk.
VisionParse provides optical character recognition and AI-assisted document extraction through a website, free tools and an API. Free tools are available without an account, subject to the published rate limits.
Eligibility and your account
You must be at least 16 years old to use the service, and old enough to form a binding contract where you live. If you use the service for an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for it.
You are responsible for what happens under your account and your API keys. Keep credentials and keys confidential — a key is shown once and acts as your account wherever it is used. If you believe a key or password is compromised, revoke or change it immediately; keys stop working within a minute of revocation.
Your content
You keep all rights in the documents you upload. You grant us only the limited licence needed to process a document and return the result to you, for the retention period stated in the Privacy Policy.
You confirm you have the right to upload the documents you submit, and that doing so does not breach anyone else’s rights or any law that applies to you. You will compensate us for third-party claims that arise because that confirmation was false — for example, a claim from the true owner of documents you had no right to process.
Our property
The service — the software, the website, the API, the VisionParse name and the published benchmark material — belongs to Senithu Software Solutions. These terms give you the right to use the service, not a licence to copy it, resell it, scrape it, or build a competing dataset from it. Do not reverse engineer the service except where the law gives you that right regardless of what a contract says.
Acceptable use
The free tools exist so people can convert a document. They are not an unmetered API.
- Do not circumvent rate limits, or automate the free tools.
- Do not upload malware, or content that is unlawful where you are.
- Do not resell the service as your own without a written agreement.
- Do not use the service to process documents you have no right to hold.
Plans and payment
Paid plans are billed in advance through PayPal, currently on a monthly cycle; annual billing will be offered separately when available. Prices are in US dollars and exclude any taxes we are required to collect. Card details never touch our servers — checkout happens entirely on PayPal.
Plan allowances reset each billing period and unused allowance does not carry over. Top-up credit packs are one-off purchases, never a recurring charge, and remain valid for twelve months from purchase.
You can cancel at any time and keep access until the end of the period you have paid for. We do not pro-rate refunds for a partial period unless the law where you live requires it. An unused credit pack can be refunded within 14 days of purchase; once any of its pages or credits have been spent it is no longer refundable.
If you are a consumer with a statutory right of withdrawal, you agree that the service begins immediately on purchase, and the right of withdrawal lapses to the extent the service has been performed.
If a renewal payment fails we keep your account and documents intact and reduce the account to free-plan limits after a 7-day grace period. We never delete your documents because a payment failed.
We can change prices with at least 30 days’ notice; a change takes effect from your next billing period, and you can cancel before it applies.
Availability, accuracy and AI output
We work to keep the service available but we do not promise uninterrupted service on the free or entry plans. Published uptime targets apply only where a plan states one.
OCR and AI extraction are statistical processes and they make mistakes — misread characters, misplaced fields, wrong dates, wrong amounts. We publish measured accuracy figures and known limitations rather than a blanket accuracy claim, and the service marks fields it is unsure of and runs arithmetic checks on extracted figures. Those signals are aids to your own review, not a guarantee: a result can pass every check and still be wrong.
Extracted output is data, not advice. It is not financial, legal, tax or medical advice, and the service does not decide anything on your behalf. You are responsible for having a person verify extracted data before it is relied on for any decision that matters — paying an invoice, matching an order, filing a return, or anything with legal or financial effect. To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for losses caused by acting on extracted output that was not verified.
No warranty beyond what is written
The service is provided as it is described on this site — with its published measured figures and published limitations — and otherwise without warranties of any kind. To the extent the law allows, we disclaim implied warranties including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. Where you are a consumer, you keep every guarantee your local law gives you regardless of this clause.
Ending the agreement
You can stop using the service and close your account at any time by writing to us; closing the account does not refund the current period except as the refund terms above provide.
We can suspend or terminate an account that breaks these terms or the Acceptable Use Policy — with notice and a chance to fix the problem where practical, immediately where the use threatens the service, other customers, or the law. We can also retire the service or a feature with at least 30 days’ notice, refunding any prepaid period we do not deliver.
After termination you have 30 days to export your data, after which it is deleted on the schedule in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature survive — payment obligations, liability, governing law — survive.
Liability
To the extent the law allows, our total liability in any twelve-month period is limited to the amount you paid us in that period. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost data, where that loss was not reasonably foreseeable.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.
Governing law and general terms
These terms are governed by the law of Sri Lanka and disputes belong to the courts of Sri Lanka. If you are a consumer, this does not take away protections you are entitled to under the mandatory law of the country where you live.
If we make a material change to these terms we will post the change here with a new date, and for signed-in customers we will say so in the product. Continued use after the change takes effect is acceptance.
If part of these terms turns out to be unenforceable, the rest stands. Not enforcing a term today does not waive it tomorrow. You may not transfer this agreement without our consent; we may transfer it as part of a sale or reorganisation of the business, and your rights survive the transfer. Neither of us is responsible for delay caused by events genuinely outside our control. These terms, with the policies they link to, are the whole agreement about the service.
